Our team's mission is to design optimal software architectures, considering various AD/ADAS system requirements, prerequisites, specifications, and constraints. These software architectures include a logical architecture that guides the placement of AD/ADAS functions and a physical architecture that considers hardware performance and constraints. Our primary responsibility is to design these software architectures to maximize customer satisfaction.
👤 Who We're Looking For 👤
We are seeking excellent full-time engineers to be responsible for logical and physical software architecture design. We are looking for individuals who can proactively drive the entire architecture design process, from acquiring various requirements to determining the placement of software functions while considering physical constraints. This is a hybrid role with 3 days of office attendance per week.
Responsibilities
- Design of AD/ADAS integrated software architecture for embedded software systems.
- Acquisition and analysis of functional and non-functional requirements.
- Prioritization of requirements and design of AD/ADAS software architecture that optimally meets them.
- Consideration of hardware constraints for CPU and software component placement, and soft scheduling design. Design and management of memory and other hardware usage.
- Evaluation of hardware usage such as processing load and memory size, and planning countermeasures for usage exceeding limits.
- Creation of software architecture design strategies and development processes.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of software architecture design and embedded software development (e.g., 4+ years of practical experience in embedded software development).
- Practical experience in acquiring, analyzing, and defining requirements for embedded software development.
- Knowledge of software development for SoC-based embedded systems equipped with multi-core, GPU, and hardware accelerators.
- Knowledge of software platforms and middleware (e.g., POSIX, RTOS, Ubuntu, ROS, QNX, etc.).
- Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., C, C++, Python, Java, JS, C#, etc.).
- Business-level Japanese proficiency.
- English proficiency equivalent to a TOEIC score of 600 or higher.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ph.D. or M.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in AD (Automated Driving) / ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems) development.
